With the cold days fast approaching, I had a hankering for some soup. Since Haley and I didn’t get to document her cabbage soup from a couple weeks ago, I made a simple request for her to prepare it for me once again.

Leisurely Stroll to Wallace Station

On Saturday, I was fortunate to be able to experience something new with Haley’s family. We took a wonderful drive through some of Kentucky’s finest farms to the popular Wallace Station restaurant. Wallace Station is a small, popular diner that was made even more famous when Guy Fieri made a visit for his show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”. They feature 20-something hot or cold sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, and desserts. On Monday nights, they serve fried chicken and on Friday nights, they offer fish fry. I first heard of Jason’s Deli from my high school friend Cal. He wrote about it on Facebook a while back and raved on about how great it was.
