Wingstop Is A Pretty Good Place For Chicken Wings

Mild Drumsticks

Several weeks ago, Mike, Marty, and I ended up visiting Wingstop for lunch. I forgot how it was decided but I remember asking them about it on several occasions prior because I’ve never heard of the brand before coming to Tennessee. Having been exposed to two of the more well known names in the chicken wings business (Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Zone) and being a fan of wings altogether, I was eager to try it.

Wingstop is a franchise brand of restaurants with a focus only on chicken wings and sides. The theme for Wingstop is based on …

Surprisingly Great Food At Opah Greek Grille

Gyro Platter

For lunch on Thursday, Mike mentioned that we should go to a gyro restaurant near our work. As we pulled up, I told him that I would feel more comfortable looking up reviews of this place prior to entering. I wasn’t particularly craving Greek food and if I was going to eat it, I would rather go to a place that received positive reviews. Demos’ Restaurant Serves Up Simple, Quality Food At Affordable Prices

Oven-Baked Chicken & Spaghetti

Mike and I originally planned on going to Demos’ Restaurant in Murfreesboro for lunch on Monday but a couple of the guys couldn’t make it. So we postponed it to Tuesday in hopes that more people could go. In the end we got Marty & Jason to come with us. Nothing like workplace camaraderie!

Demos’ Restaurant (also known …

Good Italian Fare at Marina’s On The Square

Marina\'s On The Square

I’ve been meaning to visit Marina’s On The Square in Murfreesboro for quite some time now. Several of my coworkers mentioned that it was “really good” but I just never found the time to go with Haley; after all driving to Murfreesboro for dinner isn’t a quick trip. After a suggestion by Marty that we could go for lunch, I decided I’ve been putting it on hold for way too long. So for Wednesday’s lunch, Marty, Mike, and I were off to Marina’s On The Square.

Hence the name, Marina’s On The Square is located in the downtown courthouse …

Take Two On Old Chicago – Reviewing The Ultimate Deep Dish Pizza

Ultimate Deep Dish - Chicago Seven

If any of you have read my last review of Old Chicago (located here), I mentioned that I really liked it but would have liked more sauce on the pizza. While I know that this could have been taken care of by a simple request for extra sauce, I also mentioned that their pizza wasn’t true “Chicago-style” where the toppings are abundant and the pizza is covered in sauce. After hearing about their latest promotion of a new pizza that is supposed to faithfully represent “Chicago-style” pizza, I had to return to test it out.

The new pizza is …
