Best Breakfast Ever? Visit Wild Eggs in Louisville, Kentucky

Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict

I first heard about Wild Eggs earlier this year from several friends and family who are residents in Louisville, Kentucky. Typically when a single person says something is “awesome”, you can’t help to have some sort of skepticism… but as I brought it up in conversation with each friend & family member, every single one of them ranted & raved about how good it was. By the time I got my 6th opinion, I knew I had to pay Wild Eggs a visit.

I can only assume that the other two Wild Eggs have the same kind of quality as the …

The Local Neighborhood Diner “Dalts Grill” Is A Pleasant Surprise

Reuben & Mashed Potatoes

Having recently moved to a new area of Nashville, one of the most difficult challenges is to find a good place to eat. While chains and/or fast food restaurants are always endlessly abundant no matter where you go, sometimes you just want to eat at a local restaurant. Copper River Grill In Nicholasville Tries Hard, But Misses The Mark

14 oz. Ribeye

Last month I had the opportunity to dine at Copper River Grill, one of Nicholasville’s newest restaurants just off of Nicholasville (Lexington) Rd. Nashville’s Burger Up In Some Aspects, Burger Down In Others

Black & Blue Burger w/ Benton\'s Bacon

In the recent weeks, I’ve started hearing a lot about a hamburger restaurant called Burger Up located in 12th Avenue South area of Nashville. Words like “upscale” and “fancy” usually accompanied the description I heard from others. To most, that phrase might seem strange when describing a hamburger restaurant but not to me… late last fall I got the opportunity to dine at one of the true gourmet burger joints called Flip Burger Boutique. Since Flip Burger Boutique was now my new benchmark for upscale burgers, I was intrigue on how Burger Up would stack up to the competition.

A Fine Diamond In The Rough – The Mad Platter in Nashville

Pork Duo

My latest dining experience to review is from a local restaurant called The Mad Platter that was unexpectedly one of my better dining experiences in Nashville to date . In all honesty, I wasn’t expecting much from this restaurant because the last upscale, local restaurant I tried ended up being slightly average. On top of that, when I attempted to make a reservation at The Mad Platter, the person I spoke to was quite rude and short with me over the phone. That alone got me started off on the wrong foot but because of my love for food; …
