I first heard about Wild Eggs earlier this year from several friends and family who are residents in Louisville, Kentucky. Typically when a single person says something is “awesome”, you can’t help to have some sort of skepticism… but as I brought it up in conversation with each friend & family member, every single one of them ranted & raved about how good it was. By the time I got my 6th opinion, I knew I had to pay Wild Eggs a visit.
I can only assume that the other two Wild Eggs have the same kind of quality as the …

I’m not going to lie. I knew about Las Paletas for a while now, even before I was a Tennessee resident almost two years ago. I distinctly remember when I first read about it on the Internet (Trip Advisor to be exact). I accompanied Haley for a trip to Nashville for a job interview and while interviewing, I tried my hardest to find Las Paletas (which at the time didn’t have a store sign) but I never found it… that is until just a few weeks ago when I ran in the half marathon with Haley. A few weeks ago while I was checking the Twitter account for Hyoungry Man, I noticed a fellow Nashville food blogger & Twitter friend, Beth Eats, tweeted about her recent lunch experience that day. What caught my eye in particular were three words: “Gloria’s Korean Kitchen”. After a few quick tweets, I found out that Gloria’s Korean Kitchen was actually found in Franklin, TN. Having recently taken a new job in Brentwood, I was minutes away from Franklin and saw it as a perfect opportunity to plan my next meal there. Korean restaurants in Nashville are far & few …

After months of hearing about it last year, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville finally opened its doors in Nashville in November 2010. I’ve heard many things about Margaritaville but never experienced for myself. I finally got that chance last Tuesday before the Nashville Predators hockey game.
Located on the corner of 4th Ave and Broadway, this new casual, island-themed restaurant chain easily blends in with the rest of the array of neon lit signs down the streets of downtown Broadway. What many people may not know is that Jimmy Buffett started his musical career in Nashville. Inside you’ll find plenty of …
