The first time I had experience with Mongolian Stir Fry (or Mongolian Barbecue) was at a Chinese buffet a several years ago. Over time, more and more Chinese buffets would offer food in this manner, but the selection of meat, vegetables, and sauces were limited. I didn’t experience my first full commercialized experience until bd’s Mongolian Grill back in Lexington, Kentucky. Since then, that has been my benchmark for all Mongolian stir fry restaurants.

I mentioned on Facebook & Twitter that we were going to Maggiano’s on Thursday but we ended up not going because we were so full after eating unlimited servings of Pinkberry. So for Friday I took Haley back to West End Avenue so we could eat dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy, a restaurant we haven’t visited since our last trip to Atlanta over a year ago.
